Owner Guito Lavoile's vision for great service and food at the
L’Exquisitus café has
already come true. When he opened the café in spring 2006, he hoped to
offer a cozy, warm environment that would bring different cultures
together. His unique design of the menu, along with the intimate
atmosphere of the café really stand out
among cafés in the local area. |

During the 1950’s and 60’s, Manhattan Valley suffered a serious downfall.
Community members realized this downfall and planned rehabilitation. In
1971, the rehabilitation started. The goal was to make the
neighborhood more enjoyable by revitalizing the existing buildings.
L'exquisitus has been a firm supporter of the Manhattan Valley
project and a participant in this neighborhood project since Spring 2006. |
